My Seattle wedding - not the legal one. The first in the trilogy of ceremonies, taking the weddings to the people. We did a hand-fasting for this one. Needless to say, I am in full support of marriage equality!
My New York City wedding - the legal one. The second in the trilogy. This was held at the Drilling Company Theatre, and featured a film crew who had decided to tell our story for the pilot of a new documentary series on love worldwide.
My New Zealand wedding - in my hometown Christchurch. The third and final installment in the trilogy of ceremonies. This was in the only theatre I performed in that is still standing after the earthquakes.
This gorgeous little yorkie poo puppy came into my life in May 2013. She is an absolute joy!
We named her Anya, after the character in Buffy The Vampire Slayer tv series, and now and again she can be just as crazy as her namesake. She certainly is a bundle of energy. I love her smiley happy face. She's our little teddy bear.

On January 10, 2016 my Mum died. She was a huge influence in my life, and is a big part of why I am who I am. I miss her every day - my biggest fan!
Mum hated having her picture taken, so I love this one snapped when she wasn't aware, with a smile showing how happy she was.
Mum was an extremely talented artist. She painted birthday and Christmas cards for all our family every year. I owe my creative side to her!
I decided to try out having bright purple hair for the first time, just before I headed down to the Nevada desert in August 2019 for Burning Man!
I had always wanted to try having my hair done my favorite color, so thought just before my fourth trip down to the big festival in the desert was the perfect time.
Of course, after over a week in the extreme temperatures and desert sun, the bright purple got bleached out and some of the lighter colors came through for a galaxy look.
In November 2019 we finally decided to find a little brother for Anya, and so along came Shadow. He is also a yorkie poo. He was so tiny when we first met him. He was the runt of his litter. We could sit him on the palm of our hand. He had three very rambunctious bigger sisters, who kept him busy on his tiny little puppy beans!
We got to hang out with him a few times before we brought him home, so he could get used to the three of us, and feel more comfortable. We had to wait until he weighed more than one pound, before we could bring him home. That took a while! Finally we drove him back home with us, and he quickly became a wondeful new member of the family, with a huge personality for such a tiny little body!
Anya took a while, and is still adjusting, to not being the only child in the family. They are both slowly learning to play together, and I even created an Instagram account for the two of them, called Anya's Shadow. They are both so adogable together, that I wanted to share it.
